The Petaluma Cinema Series showcases a mix of classic, foreign, and independent films on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the state-of-the-art Carole L. Ellis Auditorium at the Petaluma Campus of Santa Rosa Junior College.

Pre-film lectures, offered at 6pm, are designed to enhance the audiences’ appreciation and understanding of the film by examining the film’s production history, learning about the players that brought the picture together, and examining the techniques that will be showcased in the film.

Join us for the 6pm pre-film lecture or the 7pm screening.  Click here for the current schedule. The current series runs Wed. Sept. 5 to Wed. Dec. 12, 2018.

"Frida" on Wed. October 10th will be preceded by an introduction from Cultural Anthropologist and Mexican-American studies specialist Dr. Amanda Morrison.

"Halloween' on Wed. October 31 will feature a pre-screening lecture and post-screening Q&A with film cinematographer, Dean Cundey (Jurassic Park, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Apollo 13, Back to the Future)
